Professor Tim Orr delivers a lecture at the Gettysburg College Civil War Institute on the enlistment practices of the Union and Confederate forces and the lives of soldiers as they went off to battle.
Tim was a doctoral candidate in the Richards Center, earning his PhD from Penn State in 2010. He is currently an assistant professor of history at Old Dominion University.
